Sewing Futures: Tailoring Workshops for Young Women

A six-month tailoring and business-skills programme for young women in Goma. Each graduate leaves with her own sewing machine, a starter kit of fabric, and a micro-savings group of fellow graduates — a small business ready to open on day one.

The workshop doubles as a safe space: alongside pattern-cutting and machine skills, weekly sessions cover financial literacy, reproductive health and leadership.
